Between Stimulus and Response

Resilience begins in the space between hardship and what happens next. When fear takes hold and hope feels distant, it becomes easy to stay stuck in brokenness. But identity is not defined by trauma, and the future is not limited by the past. Courage often comes from outside through truth, community, and the strength to take one faithful step at a time. Encouragement can fill empty places, and honest conviction can break the grip of fear and passivity. In Nehemiah 2:11-20, we see even in the ruins, restoration is possible.
