Along with many areas throughout Houston, the HNW campus sustained extensive damage during the Harvey floods. During the recovery and rebuild process, we’re thankful for your patience and partnership as we redesign ministry activities due to lack of facility space.
The 249 Building is open for kids! Kids ages Infants-PreK will be in 249 North. Parents please use the entrance on the WEST side of the 249 building. Our special needs and My Place rooms are located in W100 – the room behind the Worship Center. We are so excited to have this space for our kids and hope you’ll join us Sunday mornings as we welcome kids to their new space.
Because of the distance from the 249 Bldg. to the Worship Center, we have three 11-passenger shuttles used to shuttle parents & kids from the 249 Bldg. to the Worship Center. There are two designated shuttle pick-up/drop-off locations – please look for the HNW Kids Shuttle Service signs at these locations: (view a campus map)
- The far west side of the 249 Bldg.
- In front of the Worship Center.
Do you have a nursing room?
Yes. We have two locations for Nursing Moms to use. These are private rooms with comfortable chairs, a changing space, burp cloths, blankets and water for mom. Locations include:
- In a room located through the double doors to the right of the Worship Center stage. We have ladies waiting to guide you to the room as you approach the double doors.
- In the Nursery inside of the 249 North Bldg.
Will my child be with kids their own age?
Yes. The children are put with children according to their birth date. All of the children will be within just a few months of each other.
Do you perform background checks on your teachers?
Absolutely! Each preschool volunteer has had a background check. They are checked again every year. We also require that there be at least two teachers with the children at all times.
What do you do to avoid the spread of germs?
Our Nursery, including toys and furnishings, are cleaned and sanitized after each session. We also require that children be free of fever for 24 hours before entering the preschool area. If a child appears ill, they will immediately be removed from the Nursery, and parents will be notified.
Due to the flooding HNW experienced during Hurricane Harvey, all Wednesday night activities have been cancelled until further notice.
Parent/Child Commitment is a time for HNW members to publicly commit themselves to the godly rearing of their child. For more information | Click Here
