I’m New Here

Welcome to Houston NW Church!

As You'll Soon Discover...

HNW is a church made up of imperfect people from all walks of life, each growing in their discovery of God’s grace. We believe all of life hinges on the good news — or gospel — of Jesus. We believe that His coming and life fulfilled God’s plan. We believe His death forgives believers of sin. We believe His resurrection promises us eternal life with Him. This gospel changes lives and will impact yours as well.

Plan Your Visit/FAQs

When should I arrive?

Our services are on Sundays at 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. If you plan to take your children to our kids classes, we encourage you to arrive about 15 minutes early to get registered.

Where should I go?

We’re located at 19911 State Hwy. 249. You can enter from the feeder road or from Cypresswood Drive. Guest parking is available at the front of the worship center. This is the building closest to Hwy. 249 with the water fountain and flagpole (campus map). We’ll greet you out front and get you to the right place.

Where do my children go?

We are passionate about communicating the truth of the gospel in age appropriate ways, and we provide a fun, safe environment for kids. Classes are available during each worship service for children ages birth through fifth grade. Children’s classes are in the 249 Building near the back of the campus (campus map). A shuttle is available to drive parents and kids back and forth between the worship center and children’s building.

What about my student? (6th-12th Grade)

Students (6th-12th) attend Sunday morning worship at 10:30 a.m. in the  YMCA’s Shindeldecker Bldg. (campus map) for a time of student-led music, Bible study and practical application. On Wednesday evenings students meet in area homes for Bible study, food and community.
Visit HNW.org/students for details and other opportunities!

What about a family member with special needs?

If you have a family member with special needs, we would love to serve you. Special needs classes for kids and adults are available at both worship hours. If you are deaf or hard of hearing, we provide sign language interpretation during both our 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. services.

What should I wear?

We care about YOU, not what you’re wearing, so feel free to come in jeans or whatever is comfortable. If you prefer to dress up a little, that works, too! You’ll see a little of everything at HNW.

What should I expect while I'm there?

Sunday services at HNW last about an hour and 15 minutes. We sing worship songs, pray, and hear Bible-based preaching and teaching. On some Sundays we also partake in the Lord’s Supper (communion) and believer’s baptism.
